Cindy Herrera DNP, APRN, PPCNP-BC grew up in Northwest Ohio and currently resides in Bowling Green. Cindy is the mother of five and grandmother of two. She received her Bachelor’s in Science at Spring Arbor University in 2003, then obtained her Master’s and Doctoral degrees at the University of Toledo. She currently works as a professor at the University of Toledo, in the college of nursing. Her love of children has enabled her to serve as a board certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for over a decade. She has experience caring for children of all ages within the pediatric population. When not at work, Cindy can be found at home, traveling or fishing with her husband and family.
